87% of Us Have a Comfort Show
A CableTV.com survey found 87% of Americans have a "comfort show" they return to again and again — and over a third specifically go looking for it when they open a streaming app. The average person has rewatched theirs seven times; Millennials, more than fifteen.
Discovery isn't only about what's new. Sometimes it's about getting back to what you already love, faster.

The 16-Minutes-a-Day Problem
A 2026 UserTesting survey found the average person spends about 16 minutes a day — nearly 110 hours a year, almost five full days — just deciding what to watch.
That's not entertainment. That's homework.
It's exactly the gap TV Butler Pro exists to close: Hodges does the deciding, so you're watching in seconds, not scrolling for minutes.

Four Services, One Remote, Zero Idea What's On
Deloitte's 2026 Digital Media Trends survey of over 3,500 US consumers found the average household now juggles four streaming services. 47% say they're paying too much. 41% say the content isn't even worth the price.
TV Butler Pro doesn't ask you to cancel a subscription — it makes the ones you're already paying for actually easy to use.

The Overwhelm Is Getting Worse, Not Better
Gracenote's 2025 State of Play study (Nielsen) found 45% of streaming users say the experience feels overwhelming, and nearly a third say juggling content across services actively hurts their viewing experience.
US viewers now spend an average of 12 minutes searching for something to watch — up from 10.5 minutes in mid-2023. More services haven't made choosing easier. They've made it worse.
TV Butler Pro was built on the bet that the industry had this backwards: the fix isn't another app to browse, it's one place that already knows what you're in the mood for.
